Just Lost AM Reception On Radio

I have the standard MINI sound system. All was well until I drove home from work and I can't seem to get any AM stations. All I hear is static. CD and FM are both fine. Antenna is in place. I have the multi-function steering wheel. I might have hit a wrong button on either the stereo or the wheel but I can't find any trouble-shooting info in the manual. Anyone have this problem or a suggestion on how I might restore AM reception? Thanks so much.

Sounds like a connection behind the radio or at the roof interface may have come loose.

I just had a big change in our AM reception while going under bridges, through tunnels, or other marginal situations. This is a definite change so something happened to us too. I called about it, but we're not going to drive the miles to the dealer until it drives me nuts or there is some other reason to go.

Sounds like an improvement to your sound system to me!
