Today is the last day I can make any changes to my order and the one thing still outstanding in my mind is the mfsw.

On a new copper S the wheel is going to be 3 spoke steering wheel so questions are:-
Will your connector kit it work with a CDXMP80 with a 6CD MP3 changer in the boot?
What will I need to do a full install with an mfsw including other connectors i.e. do a nee the wring harness as well?
How much in total will cost?
And to every one is it worth the extra £160?

I have still not worked on a 3 spoke, BUT I am 99% confident it will work. Can't see why not.

oN THE FACTORY stereo one changed source, one did nothing
on aftermarket one does source one (with some makes is Mute)

I was wondering if anyone knows of a UK dealer that can ship a Sony CDXM850MP or CDXM1000TF to Southern California. I would pick up the 850MP here, but it doesn't have the rear jack for the mfsw, and I want to keep it hard wired. TIA.

I am looking to fit the Pionner DEH-P7400MP (2003 Model) to my mini, currently it has the Boost, is there a hard wired convertor to use the MFSW? - if so what type of costs am i looking at for all adaptors, convertors, etc? I will also be looking to purchase the Nokia Bluetooth handsfree and wire that in aswell, is this compatable with this the pioneer headunit? - If i can not use the MSFW with the Pioneer headunit - I'll just still go for the handsfree on the Boost, any ideas again of cost for all the bits to make this possible?

Thanks for checking Mike - Although according to my inst manual a remote control is available to buy for this head unit and on the fascia there is what appears to be a IR receiver.

Will this poss allow a MFSW adaptor to be used?

Wul - the JVC doesn't have a hard wired input.
You are right about an IR input - so you could use the universal adaptor (not plug & play) but you would need the IR remote to program it. The advantage here though is you can program the buttons to do the freatures you want and if you change your stereo - just re program the adaptor

There are 2 posibilties -
An IR mfsw interface - this has a harness adaptor built in but £70
Or the universal one - £50 you would need the harness adaptor with this and it is not plug & play but can be re programmed if you change the stereo. You will need an IR remote with the radio to pregram this option.
