| GSM aerial cable (for shark fin aerial) Does anybody know where I can get the GSM cable that would go from the shark fin aerial (GSM plug) to my Ericsson handsfree kit? | I spoke to BMW (Coopers in Vauxhall/Kennington). They advised that there is a part however their system says that it is on hold and is not priced. Therefore, this meant they could not release the part number or give me a price. arrrggghhh! | For anyone who cares the aerial cable that goes from the Shark fin aerial to the phone is PN 61 126 921 325 £15 - back order and should arrive in a week... Now All I need to work out is how/where I feed the wire from the sharkfin to the telephone... | Oh... I wish... I am now having problems. I have the Mini cable in place and my Ericsson adapter in place but they don't fit together. I am going to have to spice the wires together as apparently there is no adapter to go between. Ericsson in there HCE-12 adapter include a screw in fixture that is suppose to cover all but it is one size too big to screw into the mini cable... ----------------------------------- Post-kids - Mini Clubman S - Laser Blue, black roof, black stripes and mirrors (Pre-kids - Mini Cooper Ssssss - Electric Blue, white roofs, stripes and mirrors.) |

| So do you have Sat Nav, hence the shark fin? In which case is there a cable on the shark fin for GSM as well as GPS? If you don't have GPS what have you done about your FM aerial? the MINI has gone... |

| I have sat nav. The shark fin has 2 wires in it. 1 for the GPS and 1 for GSM. If you car does not come with the full phone prep (most) then the GSM wire will be just hanging out of the fin with a magenta plug on it. That is the reason I bought the cable. Now in essence I have 2 female ends (both different sizes) and no adapter that fits in between. I think I have no option but to splice and dice.
