Question Harmon Kardon

I have just made my mind up to upgrade from a one to MCS, and i am thinking about the extras and would like to know if the Harmon Kardon system is compatable with the sony CDX M630 That is being offered in the mini sound options?

Hi there as promised I have looked in to the CDX M630 - according to my Brand Manager who know like EVERYTHING on MINI's he states that none of the head units in the MINI sounds booklet are compatable with Harman Kardon only the orgional head unit + Boost that you would buy from the dealer when you have Harman Kardon Factory Fitted.

Bummer I know - sorry...

Still get a secont opinion though - MINI has only been out 2 years and is still a new breed even for the experts.

Good Luck

I have a Kenwood HU running through the HK amp. Only front speaker level signals go to the amp. The amp REQUIRES the original HU to still be connected and it uses data from that HU to control volume, fade, sound mode, etc.
A little confusing to have two HUs with two volume controls
