speakers and connectors???

right i want to change the four main speakers (2 lower doors + 2 rear) my only question being, is there any special connectors i need and do i need any specific mounting boards to align the front or rear speakers fixing holes?

i am aware the rear speakers are 6*9 so this cant be too hard to change (is this a direct change or adaptors required??).

i also belive the fronts are 5 1/4 but not sure whether these will need any adaptors or alignment plates (are these called pods)??

any help will be a bonus as i dont want to start removing door cards only to see the speakers plus what other things i will require just to put them back on while i get all the bits.

thanx in advance.

You can get pods that use the factory screws for 13cm door speakers
Or pods for 16.5cm that require 2 holes drilling.
Connectors - I usually chop the wires and put speaker terminals on.
Pods listed at www.newministuff.co.uk
