Stock CD receiver Question - MINI Cooper Forum

Just wondering, does anyone know if the stock CD unit has RCA out? I'm installing an Amp and new Speakers, would prefer to just keep the stock unit if possible. Thx.

Ok figured it out (w/ out ripping the unit from the dash) It doesn't have preamp outs, so I'll be using this to connect the amp: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-UgE8EU1....asp?i=127OEM2

kinda ghetto but I'd prefer to keep the stock receiver.

No, it doesn't and the mod that was on here to add pre amp outs didn't work - at least not for me. It picked up a point with a sizeable voltage offset and a lot of noise.
