Few Questions Concerning Car Audio

I'm interested in upgrading my speakers and head units for my MINI...
I want a head unit that has multi-color screens, in other words you can change from amber to blue to purple or whatever... does anyone know a good head unit with this feature along with MP3 capability that also puts out sufficient power to aftermarket speakers.
Also, I've been looking on crutchfield.com for the alot of the stuff I want to buy. I notice the prices are pretty high for some stuff, but you also get like a 2 year warranty which seems worth it to me. Any other cheaper websites that may or may not offer warranties on their stuff?
