I'm thinkin to change the factory headunit...but I need to know several things first...the headunit I wanna install is the Pioneer DEH-P8450MP..has anyone done this before? are there any modifications needed to be done on the standard mounting?

Hi Leon,
The man to talk to is Mike. His company makes every thing you will need and heaps more, ie you will need an antenna adaptor, mounting kit and I would suggest an ISO Cable. that simply means plug it into the existing wiring loom and then simply chop off the ISO Part and wire your Pioneer head unit into it.
Plus do you have a mulit function wheel? he also makes a kit which pugs inot your Pioneer head unit so you can still use the button on your steering wheel

Check out his site. I have bought a bit from him and he is great to deal with

thanx brett for the info..I appreciate that...
I dont have a multi functional steering wheel so..I dont think the hassle of getting the adaptor for this is necessary...
But i think i should get the adaptor for the antenna..shouldnt I?

for the mounting kit...isn't the standard pioneer headunit mounting enough?
Thanx again

Leaon,

The stadnard head unit in the mini isn't a standard din size wo you will a mounting braket to fit the bracket that comes with your head unit. Also you will need the wiring harness and ariel so it is plug and play. With these things it's a 10 mminute job to change the head unit over.

J.
