Black Cooper Help

I am new. I just got my 2002 mini cooper as a gift and of course I want to add just about everything I can. I read the thing about the onboard computer, which is a feature I would like, but I have heated seats that are in the way f the button. Not to mention I am not good with wires. Basically I would like to know what you can get the dealer to do. Can I upgrade to HK? Can I get a multi-function steering wheel? or an autodim rearview mirror? Any comment will help. I am just so excited. Thankyou.

Hi, welcome to Mini2, the trip computer button normally goes on one of the stalks heated seats by the mirror button. The MFSW can be added but is costly

Hello Sura,

Mikey is correct. It is much more expensive to add options as dealerfit rather than ordering from the factory.

The OBC has a button on the indicator stalk and costs £100 as a factory fitted option. The MINI retrofit kit costs £130 and probably a couple of hours of labour at main dealer prices.

The MFSW costs £430 excluding fitting.

It means a kit that can be fitted to your mini after you have purchased it
