SAT/NAV incompatible with HK or Mini Sound Modul - MINI2

I have just arrived from mi MINI dealer and have some questions to the forum... (I'm spanish.. so sorry about my english... ;-)

I have a 2002 Mini Cooper with Sat/Nav (MKIII) and Radio CD Boost. I wanted to improve the sound of the Radio so I searched for 2 accesories to retrofit.

1.- MINI SOUND MODUL: P/N: 82 83 0 140 180. 300€ Aprox.
My dealer said that it's incompatible with SAT/NAV installed cars... so I can't retrofit it...

2.- HiFi System harman/kardon: P/N: 65 13 0 029 635. 1.260€ Aprox.
My dealer said the same.... it's incompatible with my car...

The quesion is.... Does my dealer know what he is saying?? Does anyone of you have Sat/Nav and Harman/Kardon or Sound Modul??

Both systems (Sound Modul and H/K) have one amplifier (the H/K one with DSP) and 6 speakers.. My radio Boost as far as I know is independent from the Sat Nav.. only has a plug for the guidance voice... (Is all the problem this plug??)

Help please...

yes, steve who sits opposite me has HK and Sat Nav..and a sony MP3 changer.

I see..., but it's not a retrofit kit....so... any more clues??

Why the factory one IS compatible and the Retrofit one is NOT??

But that was factory specced and fitted and not retrofit. The instructions for retrofit HK do indeed say incompatible with satellite navigation.

Ohhhh... Anyone have the instructions in PDF format so I can check where is the incompatibility issue??

Or any one know why at factory is possible to install it and my dealer not??

OK..OK I have found this:

It says : Not compatible with on-board monitor radio... but mine is NOT monitor radio.. Mine is Boost Radio and Sat Nav...

If you read the page 7 of the manual it says that if you have Navigation you must connect it..

I have just spoken with my dealer and he says that there are one more Sound System for Mini Available:

Mini Power Sound System. It has DSP (like H/K) and is FULL compatible with SAT/NAV.

The Part Number is : 82 83 0 301 907 and he is going to ask the €... (I think over 1,500€)

Anyone know about this system??
