United-Kingdom Mini Tweeter Cover Lights (The Lowdown)

I introduced these little miracles a couple of weeks ago.

What i have been doing is putting 6 mini 12V Led's in each of the small corners, behind the tweeter covers.

Unlike most tweeter lights, these connect directly to the bottom speaker in the Mini's door.

When they are connected they light up to the beat of the music, at a average to loud volume. And the louder you go, the brighter they go.

These can be in any combination of colours, but the best ones are Red, Green, Yellow. Because the LED's are avaliable in 8.5Ma, which is very low current, and therefore does not affect the sound system.

Included are pictures of how they are wired, and what they look like.

The cost, well I prefer to buy the tweeter covers, which cost about £5 each. Then the LED's are 50p each. It takes about 20 mins to make each one, depending on tools.

So, have a look at the pics, and see how cool these things are. If you are interested, give me a shout and i will post more info on how to do these little gadgets!!!!

well, thanks for the interest.

I was thinking of making them and selling, but there we go, i might yet!!!

with regards to colours, it is possible to put blue led's in them, ,but they need a resistor and the led's cost a considerable amount more than the others!!!
