 HK tweeter problems Had my mcs for 4 months now and this is first time on this site. What have I been missing! Can anybody help? - I have had a problem with the drivers side tweeter on the HK system basically from the start. It has blown and been replaced 3 times now the last 2 weeks ago. I am not blasting it out but they appear to pop straight away. After last replacement I listen at lowish volumes and the output from the new tweeter seemed to lack treble compared with the passenger side. The head unit is set to HK and 'driver' only, all other controls as norm. Dealer is useless and blames 'dodgy batch of speakers'. Sorry for War and Peace butany ideas?  |

| I think that if you have the HK set on "DRIVER" it is normal to have different out put from left and right speakers to make it sound like you are sitting in the middle between the two. Try it with the "DRIVER" option off and see. Hope this helps. |
