I just installed the hard disk based Omnifi mp3 changer in addition to a Sirius satellite unit. The hard disk based systems are clearly more expensive than the CD-R changers but it's only 3 seconds between any two songs... no disc changing lag. I love it! http://www.mini2.com/forum/showpost....36&postcount=3 http://www.omnifimedia.com/home/

The Alpine is agreat choice. I've got one. You'll also need to get an adapter to convert AI-net to M-Bus (the Mini is one and the Alpine is the other). I can never remember the difference between Boost and Wave nor which I have, but be sure to check other threads around here to make sure the changer is compatible with your head unit. Or if you have an mp3 player like the iPod, you could install the aux input jack instead

Check out the Sony CDXT70MX installed in my Harmon Kardon Cooper (pic in gallery). Very nice, and very easy install. You'll need the custom MINI changer cradle for it though. PM me if you need to know more.
