thats a great piece of kit. very nice invention. i like the idea of using the seat belt to stabilise. got any video footage from it yet? one question, how much vibration do you get through the cupholder drainpipe? ive had a few spills from the rear cupholder. i tend to use a windscreen suction pro mount.

I miss the point. And why do you want to have a camera mount built into your car? http://www.mini2.com/gallery/persona...oeni/27612.jpg Buzzbomb Buzzbomb Macho-mobile. The road's my slave that's how I feel. I cruise alone I cruise real far. I don't love you I love my car (Dead Kennedys, Buzzbomb)

Thanks for your replys Did a Quick blast round the block yesterday evening & the Footage was Brilliant, It was set up to just show the top of the speedo at the bottom of the screen but can be zoomed to just show the forward view. The control arm lets me pan around if anything interesting was happening at the side view. There was No Vibration detected in the Footage although I might try a cobbled street tomorrow to really give it a Real trial There is a tendancy for the camera to tilt back on acceleration but I found that just added to the playback along with the Fantastic Supercharger whine... Gotta have stereo switched off for the full experience Had to take it Off a few weeks ago as It was getting into more scrapes than I had anticipated . Details Here >> http://www.mini2.com/forum/showpost....7&postcount=23 Oh Dear !! What can I say, other than "Sorry to have spoilt your Day" .. Try having a look at this recent In-Car footage taken by Paul Mullett to see if it inspires you in any way >> http://www.mini2.com/forum/photos-photoshops-videos-showcases/54417-went-spin-my-s-videoed.html << ![]()

Used it on a MINI-RUN today ..Excellent Footage, but yesterday found that the cable needed to connect my DV Cam to PC is an optional extra .However, I attatched my Digital Stills Cam that also takes Vids at a couple of stages & heres an edit of the Control arm being used to pan the scenery ![]()

Sweet! And i suppose at the touch of a button, the car transforms into a submarine! You already have the periscope! That really is brilliant. Does it stow away in the boot when you park up, or do you leave the mount where it is and take the camera with you? Ian M Grinny the mini - Trippin the light fantastic!
