CD Multichanger UK

Hi People

Sorry if this is a repeat question & I have checked FAQ'S. Here goes:

I haven't spec'd a CD Multichanger for my new MCS, but it does have the cable there.
Does anybody know if I HAVE to fit a MINI changer or can I use another make.

For example the Kenwood 10disc I've had sitting in my garage for the last 2 years???
Do I need an adaptor of somesort?

Any help would be great.

I thought CD prep meant you can just plug in a Sony changer without the need for an adapter
