Took this a while back but it's my 9887 installed with ipod cable in glovebox. Also have some Hertz competition splits, Scanspeak 10" sub in custom box and a custom amp from a friend of mine. sounds pretty good for a car with such a rattle prone interior.

Here is my Alpine CDE-111RM:

Cost £99 (plus £10 postage car audio direct, next day) also bought £5 ipod cable off ebay for full ipod control via headunit and full speed (this cable goes in the back, also charges iphone). My first alpine and I see why so many people like this brand, great quality and sound. Matches colour and looks good in car.

on some DVD players do you have to hook them up to a earthing point? if so where did u find one?
