That is one great Alpine. I strongly considered it, but it was just way out of my price range. I went for the CDA-9813R in the end, which is still an incredible unit for under £300. And it matches the amber illumination of the MINI!

Alpine CDA-9831R and as Sebby says, it can set to match the MINI interior perfectly. Also fitted Infinity reference components and 6x9's

M1les - any chance of posting a night pic of your Alpine as I'm thinking of getting one as it will be compatible with the Alpine IPod link detailed on another thread.

The new Sony head units are dealer fit options, anyone with a sony cdxf7500 fitted, got any pics.
I hope the dealer fit will have warranty support, otherwise I'll go aftermarket.

This is correct (a friend of mine has this unit). My CDA-9813R is better in terms of the amber illumination!
