Okay, now I get it.

Like I said before, I must be getting SENILE.

By the way, went to Helix today and installed a 15% pulley, an RDR rear sway bar, and a short shift kit for the '04! WOO HOO. Post to come soon.

Here's the link to the post that seemingly took forever to write about the upgrades I did today!

Define "sticker" for me!

I have an mar'04 build, and I don't see a airbag "sticker".....to me it looks more like the label is directly printed on the visor, or perhaps a decal......but certainly not a sticker with peelable edges! Perhaps MINI has changed this recently?

I was thinking of going an opposite route....one of the first mods many PT Cruiser folk do to deal with the warning is to buy a label to slap over the existing warning label. I don't know if anyone supplies such a label for the MINI, however the folks at Streamline Design who make one for the PT maybe interested in doing one for the MINI. I'll post any further details if a MINI label is in the making.

It's a decal that looks as if it cannot be peeled off but it can!

Trust me - I got it off!

Just pour some Goo gone on it, let it sit for like 10 minutes until it dries. Then pour some acetone on it. You really have to let the goo gone sit. The decal should then come off with very little effort (slight rubbing with your thumb).

k - here it is- 2 minutes each side and presto it's done. Soak a corner of a rag well with acetone (nail polish remover is the same thing with smelly stuff added). swivel the visor till its almost flat with the sticker side up. Soak the sticker well dabbing the liquid all over. Keep doing this for about a minute and it will start to blister. soak the rag again and now with a little rubbing (it is a chemical reaction that takes it off- not elbow grease) PRESTO all gone!
Hint for other uses - some stickers need acetone to dissolve glue on them - others use Naptha (lighter fluid) like the kind stuck to the back of new drinking glasses. When naptha is called for NOTHING in this world will remove besides that.

Bullocks!

Edit: Signature trimmed! And with 17 characters still unused....

What are the guidelines for signatures?

From the guidelines:

Those trying to find information in technical posts complained that signatures with multiple lines of text were difficult to differentiate from message replies and often longer than the replies themselves.

Well, I gave this method a shot. The label on the 05 anthracite sunvisors is nearly permanent. After using nail poloish remover, goo gone and acetone, I managed to remove most of the passenger side label but I destroyed my driver side visor. The vinyl has puckered so now I'm looking for a replacement. I haven't even made the first payment yet.
