| CD Changer input in aftermarket head unit Sorry if this is a really obvious question but I've searched the forums and FAQs and am still at a loss. I have a Boost stereo with a cd changer in the boot and am going to (try to) install an aftermarket head unit. It seems reasonably straightforward but there's one thing I'm not too sure on. Presumably when I remove the factory head unit there will be some sort of cable in the back which carrries the signal from the cd changer? Now I don't intend to use the cd changer with my new head unit (I'll be using my iPod) but will probably leave it in place so I can reinstall the factory head unit at a later date. Does this mean when I fit the new head unit there will be a cable behind it which I should leave unattached? If so, which one? Sorry if this is a stupid question or answered elsewhere but its really bugging me. |
