Locking Glovebox Retro Fit ? - MINI2

Am looking to fit the NEW convertible / '05 LOCKING GLOVEBOX ... dealer says it's not available (yet) anyone tried / able to check [especially if you work in a dealer's service, parts department or for MINI] and can tell me if when they'll be available for retro-fit; parts number(s) and prices etc PLEASE

Done a search and see a few ppl have retro fitted the NON-Locking glovebox, so this is an option but El Gordo's managed to get the new Utility Box so makes me doubt the dealer ....

Hiya J1,

Can't help you with the part numbers, but I did enquire about the availability of the interior chrome package and pricing.......as you, the dealer looked it up but didn't find anything as of yet.

I'm sure in the next few weeks these "upgrades" are likely to slowly filter through........I guess they're just trying to satisfy demand with the build on the cars, let alone spares as well.
