United-Kingdom Changer Compatible Head Unit

I have a boost cassette unit with a Mini cd changer and want to upgrade the head unit. Does anyone know of any head units that i can use in conjunction with my changer?

There are no aftermarket stereos that will work with the factory changer

really? feck me i never knew that. thats one decision made then for the next car, cheers mikey.

whats the best approach to take if i'm planning on going aftermarket with the stereo on a brand new car;
- have them fit the bog standard wave casette & cd prep?
- ask them not to fit a stereo at all & have them fit my aftermarket unit (is there a cost reduction if they dont fit a unit?)

Go with wave (don't think in the uk you can opt for no stereo)
Gives you something to sell the car with
Get cd prep if its free (again something on the spec when you sell it)
The cd prep lead can NOT be used with aftermarket radios
