Door lock pins

Does anyone know how to remove the door lock pins? Do they just unscrew like most cars as I have tried that but had no luck...

I'm gonna take a wild guess but from what I remember when I had the door card off for my front speakers, they looked like they were probably glued on. If you're not too bothered about keeping them in a good condition, you could probably attack the black bits with a knife until it comes off

Door pins

The door pins do screw on and off.
However, they are moulded into a Z shape so you will not be able to remove them without taking off the door case!!

p.s

P.s
This also means that because of the position of the locking pin rod, third party pins will not just fit on without reworking the rod. Best to wait for MINI specific third party pins to arrive.
