I feel stupid; I want to register and get an armrest, but I don't speak German and can't figure out the registration screen. I think I know where to enter user name, email twice and password (how many characters?). What do I do after that?
Thanks

Another question is, will this part be $199 at a dealership, and if so, how is he getting it for only $123?

Thanks, Josh!

I have an armrest now, but I don't love it, and would be happy to yank it out and get this one instead. My current one sits too low and too far back for me to actually rest my arm on it... I will stay tuned!

hi !

after you have typed in your password (6 characters i believe ) all you have to do is click on "absenden" er simply hit "enter" on your keyboard!
your nick will then be activated. after that you just post here that you want one and everything will go its way !

@all

i can offer the armrest for this price cause i will be ordering quite a bunch of them

take care!

mac

Do you think the armrest will get in the way of shifting and trail braking?

No...look at the first picture. It ands at the base of the e-brake. This is a big reason why I like this one because many others I've seen come out too far and interfere with you using the handbrake. Not a problem so much when parking, but you know those days when it snows and you find that open parking lot... I would consider it more of an elbow rest.

Next thing to investigate will be height as compared to the shifter, can you shift with your arm resting on it, and will it also be OK with a short shifter, which I still would like to get some day.

Looks like Mac got swamped with requests. Since my firewall blocks me from getting to the German website, I sent him an e-mail and a PM last week requesting to get put on the list and he hasn't responded. Someone else has told me that the German board now says that he's no longer putting anyone on the list since he has over a 100 requests. Looks like I'm going to be playing the waiting game with MINI USA
