2005 MINI Armrest

Motoringfile has posted a report from someone who has obtained and installed the new official armrest!

Translating the original page it states it took 15min to install and is in black leatherette.
The part number is 52 12 0 154 307

I've already emailed my parts guy to see what can be done. I was strongly considering the OutMotoring armrest but depending on the price I might go with the new official one.

Does anyone have any more information?

The guy who installed it is in Germany. I doubt you'll be able to order this from US dealers until Jan 2005.

Do you think a car phone kit can fit in there? and an Apple Ipod? It would be great as it's concelled and you can leave it in there and not worry about it. As my phone has Auto Answer and auto Hang up. THe only time that I would have to open it is to press the button for voice dialing and the Ipod is controllable from the steering wheel

BMW told me that it'll fit into all minis no matter what year of production!.
the armrests will be shipped worldwide. i am just checking how much postage and packing will be added to the 123$ but it shouldnt be that much i believe!.

the best and also the easiest way for me to handle all the requests for the armrest is that you register (click button "registrieren" and fill out a few blank fields) and then simply post a small note in that particular thread !
cause i dont want to forget anyone simply because i havent read all mini forums
