Cleaning interior door trims: What to use?

Just interested to see what products/methods people use to clean their interior door trims, especially the harder outer plastic section. You, know the bit that marks really easily!

Cheers Liam

I just use a damp cloth and it seems to be fine. I'm always wary of using products on the inside trim since a garage gave my husband one grey and one black door in his MGF because they used the wrong cleaner.

generally just a damp cloth like spf but occasionally i'll use some autoglym vinyl & rubber care, especially around the door seals. i can remember a car coming back from a repair shop with its matt interior shiner than a drill sergeants boots - aparently it took them ages to get it off

Like the others, I use a damp cotton cloth. I follow up with a coating of 303 Aerospace protectant to keep a nice sheen on the plastic without it being too slippery or shiney.

BMW branded interior cleaning spray from the dealer. Works well, not exepnsive and gets the scuff marks off where I clip the door with my feet getting in and out

Mothers Back to Black for the door trims and the dashboard probably once every 2 months or so. other than that Water.

The Back to clack gives it a real clean feel and very smooth feel so the dust slides off. I should know, I live in the Country, and the interior stays cleaner for longer much better than the Armorall or the other oily based cleaners that look good but attract all the dust and stuff. probably Ok if you live in the City with minimal dirt-dust

You lucky so and so.. I wanted them on my BRG-White Cooper S, but can't get them

But back to black also works on it. It even says on the bottle that it can be used on different colours not just black.
