BMW iPod Interface Adapter does anybody have one of these installed in their MINI? are they any good? i've also noticed that you can't get these officially through the UK BMW MINI dealerships but you can get them from the US Dealer. Therefore does anybody know if the stereo on the UK and US versions of the MINI are the same and therefore would I be able to buy one from the States and simply fit it in my '05 UK MINI? Thanks to anybody that can answer anything on this mailing! |

| I had it installed on Abbey,my 05 MCS. It works great! There are alot of threads that try to suggest the Icelink as being the only way to go but I disagree. The sound is excellent, the steering wheel controls are vwey convenient, and the IPOD is out of sight. Of course it would be nice to have the song info on the radio output but that hasn't proven to be that great of a problem. Take it easy. |

does anybody know if it is the same one they are selling in the US compared to the UK version? They are different part numbers but I didn't know if BMW used international part numbers or were unique to area. The US P/N is 65 11 0 392 139 whereas the UK is 65.41.0.395.293 |
