United-States Switches

I've ordered my MCS with front and rear fog lights, and DSC. Will there be room for a driving lamp switch? Or am I buggered?

you are buggered, i guess you could probably wire the front and rear fog lights to both turn on with the flip of one switch, does not seem like that hard or a fix.

So if I went into the dealer for dealer-installed lights, they can't do it? Grrr...That's really frustrating.

The MINI driving lights come with it's own switch. It does NOT match the switches already on the panel. This switch for the driving lights is designed to go on the left hand side of the steering wheel (USA) on the dash. As already stated, you will have no openings for another switch even if you bought an additional chrome switch (which are not available separately).

Wow, that makes me feel a lot better.

Thanks for your help. You've made my day...now all I need is a call from my dealer telling me that I can actually have my car....grrrrr.....I don't know if I am going to make it another 2.5 weeks.

You may also want to have your dealer fit the Euro Parcel Shelf which has a dedicated spot for the switch:

Miniacs Carbon Fiber

Miniac,
From what I can see of it in your photo, I love your Carbon Fiber Dash Kit.
Is it the JCW Kit, or an after market version?
Looks really good!

The image I posted is from the gallery of 2BlueMCSMRdstr and, according to the caption, shows the JCW carbon fiber dash.

Have checked into the possibility of having a switch on the center console next to the parking brake handle opposite to the tire pressure monitor reset switch?

I noticed a covered hole and was wondering what was supposed to go there.

Just wondering....

Order a new switch panel?

I will have the same issue as originally described and was wondering if one could just order a complete switch panel with all the switches on it and then wire in the ones that came with the options ordered and then wire in your own add-ons. Has anyone done this/or think it is possible?
