About to buy- bluetooth question

Went to the dealer on Friday to go over my mini build, look at numbers, etc. The MA at my dealer (Hassel Mini in Freeport, NY) said that the bluetooth module that works w/ the MFSW controls is not yet available?
I've searched through past posts and couldn't find any posts saying they had it- has anyone received this yet? And if you did, did you install it yourself?

If it's the same as UK factory Bluetooth prep it's a very 'built in' thing and until / if a retrofit arrives you won't be able to add it after purchase.

We (I work for a UK dealer) saw our first Bluetooth prepped MINI go out the other week.

I don't think it's the same then, because my '05 has the controls built in and my MA said the module wasn't available yet, but could be activated as soon as it was.

Everything I've seen said that the MINI kit for the new wheels won't be out until the summer. Silly that the wheels came out before the kit if you ask me...

BTW in the US we can't get the cellphone prep that's available on the other side of the pond...
