Question Speaker only upgrade - please help

I have spent 2 days searching for some answers regarding a speaker only upgrade for '04 MINI with Infinity's 6002si 6/2.5 up front (will neeed spacer, I know) and Infinity 6902i for the rear.

I have couple of questions. Will these be fine for my wife? She won't be listening loud but love quality of sound. She liked HK so I think she will love these right?

Also, should I put 3 way speakers or 2 way will do just fine?. I assume I do not need any crossovers or amps right? I'll leave the stock HU as it is.

Thank you so much for help.

You would be better off getting the REF6000CS if you can afford them as you'll be able
to mount the tweeter at the top of the door in place of the OEM tweeter. Some REF9602I
will match nicely at the back. No need for three way in my opinion.

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

I support SteveM3, because thats exactlly what I have installed in my car.

In order to install the tweeters, you will just need to grind off the black metal net with a screw driver or something, very easy to do and will fit like stock after wards, you just need to push firmly to make it sit tight.

It will be a lil pain to take out the original tweeters from their original brackets, but hey, its DOABLE if you put some effort on it.

Good luck in that and am sure your wife will love it.

Peace
