Sirius WITH factory navigation?

I recently replaced my Mk3 CD based Nav Computer with a new Mk4 DVD based unit. It plugged right in and works perfect...quicker too.

I am considering the addition of a BMW TV module and ideally Sirius. I know MINI does not offer Sirius and Navigation together. BUT I have seen BMWs running both???

Has anyone succesfully installed Sirius THROUGH the factory Head Unit/Nav System/Display?

Thanks in adavance!

There is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't work. I believe there is somebody on NAM who has in fact done this.

There's only 1 caveat, you need a new antenna for either your Nav or for the Sirius. That's where the sticking point is, MINI doesn't offer an antenna with both a GPS and Sirius antenna in it...
