Radio Code - MINI Cooper Forum

I picked up my new cooper conv. yesterday afternoon and I am planning on installing the ice-link plus connector today.

I have been told that I will need the radio security code once everything has been reconnected for the head unit to work, I have searched through everything I got yesterday and I cannot find the radio code anywhere can somebody please tell me where I can find it.

Would you recommend disconnecting the battery before I attempt this or is it safe to leave it connected?

Personally I don't disconnect the battery
