United-States garage door opener

Has anyone found a good place for their garage door opener? I saw that someone had put together a small circuit that allows you to wire it in with the controls for your windows, but I would just love to find a place to hide the small control that is still reachable when I arrive home at night.

I've got the perfect spot. I am a stickler for hiding things like that myslef, so I ran to lowes and picked up a $2 package of velcro, placed one side inside the big door hand on the drivers side (right where your left hand would be). Hard to explain, but it's the fatest part of the door handle that runs Front to Back right at your side. It's a spot that you really never would grab often, if at all. I then put the matching velcro on the opener and married the two. Voila, hidden garage door opener that is at your side at all times. the cool thing is when someone is riding with you, the movement to reach the opener and activate the door is so subtle that they think your new MINI automatically does it for you.

Let me know if it works for you.

If you order the garage opener package on an '05 MINI, there are three "homelink" buttons on the bottom of the rear view mirror.

Ian, you should put a link to your "mini Circuit". I bought it before even getting the car (which should be here in a few days). Who wouldn't want to hide a garage door opener AND have the auto-up feature on your windows???

Here's the garage door opener option I have - the "Flash2Pass" opener. Works really slick. Ordered from ProMini.com
