Ice-Link Plus - iPod Power Off Hey all. Thought I'd create an independent topic as the main Ice-Link post is getting large and hard for people to search within.
I usually have my Ice-Link Plus setup using the standard iPod inferface. Why? Well, it's quicker! Easier to select a playlist if you happen to have a few hundred and the menu screens don't lag.
Also, when you switch the engine off (or the radio) the iPod switches off too.
Now, perhaps I'm doing something wrong but when using the Ice-Link interface the iPod remains ON. Obviously you take take it out of the cradle (which switches it back to normal) and then you can hold pause/play BUT it's annoying!
You might be thinking "Just use the iPod interface then!". However, I now like the text display on the headunit and since I've moved my iPod I can no longer see the screen.
Anyone know how I can set the iPod to switch off whilst in the Ice-Link interface?
Thanks! Boyderama |
