| Liquid Yellow & Lapis Blue Leather Does anyone have these color combos on their MINI? Some background info, I have a friend that is placing an order (last of the '05s) for an MCSa in Liquid Yellow (discontinued)... Currently, within the MINI creator he has the LY/LY exterior, but also wants the LY interior pieces with the Lapis Blue Leather and anthracite headliner. While it is interesting looking on the MINI USA website, he was wondering if there were any "real life" shots/pictures of this before he makes his final determination. Or, what are everyone's thoughts regarding the color combo? I think it would be cool, but tough to imagine in person if it can be pulled off, so to speak... | Eesh. In my opinion, blue and yellow should only be combined on sports jerseys. I have a liquid yellow '05 MCS (black leather interior). I had a liquid yellow '04 MC (black cloth interior). I can't believe their going to discontinue the color. Makes me sad. Anyway, I would advise your friend to stick with a more classic-looking interior. That blue would get real old real quick. |

| I kind of agree with you! I have the cloth seats which I found to work well along with the black leather! I think he is coming around to the all black interior as well! I rather upset with the MINI discontinuing LY... Not sure why, it is a great color! But hopefully, they have a change of heart and bring it back like they did with the color black! They dropped one black, but I think they picked up a different black instead for the MCS. (source: Motoringfile) Final question, do you have pics of the LY with black leather? I would want to use them to give my friend the final push over... Thanks! |

| My gallery has a couple of pictures, but I'm not sure if they show the interior (it's been awhile since I've looked at the photos). I'll see if I have any wandering around on this computer and, if so, I'll put them up on my gallery (just press the little camera icon under my post). |
