How do i take the leather arm rest off my door cards?

Will these leather arm rests come off and will they fit onto the new style door cards with the longer arm rest

They should come off, you need a thin short metal ruler with some insulation tape around it then you need to slide it between the armrest and the card (speaker end of rest) this should unclip it and then you can slide the armrest towards the speaker surround and off, there should be a torx 30 screw behind it also.

I removed mine which is an 05 spec car so not sure on earlier ones!
