Replacement head unit

Oxford Car Audio did a great job recently upgrading my speakers with a set of Genesis rear 6x9 subs and front mid and tweeters. OCA also installed a air of amps to drive the system. My main requirement was the system had to be stealth, so unless you switch on the CD player or remove the rear pannels in the boot, the car seems stock.

OCA said a head unit replacement will be a BIG upgrade, what do you think?

What is the best quality head unit to go far that looks stock, allows me to use my steering wheel controls and my BMW Mini iPod connector?

Can you help????????

Lee, the BMW rebadged head unit geek points out that a German market BMW TrafficPro (rebadged Becker TP) may do the trick (I run one in my E36) and possibly the German market BMW Indianapolis. *very* stealthy. Dunno whether the Indianoplis BMW badged version has ibus though. TP does.

Geek mode now off.

IIRC incartec will have some adaptors soon. I have a BMW badged Becker Indianapolis with orange illumination but have not yet opened it I suspect it's vanilla Becker, unlike the earlier BMW TP.
