England ICE Link Plus - HELP!!

I've had fun today...
Have fitted a ICE Link Plus and Micro Road Pilot that arrived from New Mini Stuff yesterday - great service by the way!!
The Road Pilot works fine - seems to be offline sometimes, but guessing better antenna positioning should fix that.
Problem is with the ICE link - Sometimes when i plug the IPOD into the docking cradle i get the Dension Logo, most of the time i don't.
I have no control over the IPOD with the HU (standard Mini CD/Boost)
If i set the IPOD playing and turn the volume up loud i can hear the song very quietly but more prominent (and very annoying!!) is what sounds like a pulsing sound being played through the speakers.

I've updated the IPOD software to 2005-09-06
I've removed the radio fuse to reset the HU.

So far no joy - Someone please Help Me!!!

Try removing the cable from the wafer (long skinny thing) and leave out of about 30 sec. and have look at the icelink plus thread

Sounds like you still have a cd changer connected - It must be disconnected AT THE CHANGER END not at the radio end.
