I am new to this site , so hello to everyone . I am the proud owner of a 2006 Chili - Red Mini Convertible , it's actually my 2. one , the first one drowned from Hurricane Katrina ! My family did o.k. , we all evacuated when told to do so and our house had some water - damage but nothing like the poor souls in the City of New Orleans got ( we live in a suburb ) I am 62 , female and would like to keep in touch with anyone that thinks young .
hi everyone.i,m a virgin to the site so be gentle with me. i have a 04 cooper s dark silver, union flag roof.it,s my second mini having had a cooper for 12 months before that.looking forward to joining in on a few mini days soon
Barhec, Hurricane Isabel almost got my first Cooper. My yard was more than three feet underwater but I had stored my Cooper at the airport to keep it high and dry.
Welcome, Barhec and Tommy.c! I'm fairly new, too, just joined a few days after Christmas. I have an Electric Blue 2004 MCS, just adopted her this past May and still madly in love with her. After a wonderful summer of driving her everywhere and joining the local Vegas mini club (www.sincityminiclub.com) and this site, I can finally understand what all the fuss is about...it's not just a car, it's an adventure!
The sun shines about 360 of the the 365 days, go figure that today was one of our 5 rainy ones. Thanks regarding the pics, "Angel" & I are not in any yet, just having joined the club a couple weeks ago.
And as far as the grass...the green felt of the casino gaming tables and the cash give us plenty of greenery to enjoy!
Happy New Year to you all - and I may get a chance to see lovely green Ireland in person soon! Will be on a trip to London last week of March - I'll see if I can detour over there for a day...too bad my MINI can't join me...
Annette
