Well we finally bought a new
MCSa Convertible (Hot Orange, Premium, Auto, IPOD, Home Link). The deciding decision was the 25 miles (each way) that I have to drive our daughter to high school and to get a car that she may eventually be able to drive (hence the automatic) dependant upon grades and behavior. My other car is a lease and stick shift and my wife users hers for business, hence the new car, also with it being the third car the practicability requirements is not important. We looked at used minis however the price difference for low mileage ones is not very great. After a week of driving it, I am very pleased with everything except the gas milage, which is lower than I expected (maybe it is the poor aerodynamics with the soft top down) and lower than my Mercedes C230K. It is certainly a lot of fun and tracks as if it is on rails, can’t wait till the break-in period is over so I can push it a bit more!
