MINI Cabrios in Cumbria/Lake district

just giving a shout out to all MINI Cabrio owners in the Cumbria/Lake district, come on over and say Hi!

After all we have the best roads dont we??

No, the best roads are in the Dales

But the Lakes come a close second

I go up there a fair bit as my GF, who drives a cool blue cooper lives near Kirby Lonsdale. You might see her about up there

I had a trip up to the Lakes last Christmas with Ruthie in The Minx....

Hardknott Pass and another pass we did with Shamster leading the way

I'm up there a fair bit - prob is is not always in the MINI as I have 3 kids. Was there again yesterday at Wray Castle - and a couple of weeks ago when I took some other friends to the Wrynose and Hardknott passes.

But I'll agree - I think the best roads are definitely up there

As I live in Teesdale when Im in UK (March to October, Madeira or Rio other months) Im always in the Lakes each week for at least one day. Generally park in Grasmere garden Centre (Hush, don't tell everyone!) or take tiffin (tea) in hayes garden centre Ambleside.
