United-Kingdom Uncomfortable Seats

We have an 8 month old Mini One Convertible which both my wife and I love driving except for the seats which are appallingly uncomfortable, they are the standard ones but we both are suffering from pains in our right legs, any advice?? We've tried all manner of adjustments and don't really want to spend a fortune on new seats.

Is there a known problem? We also don't want to sell the car either but after about 30 mins driving it becomes quite uncomfortable.

The standard seats are notoriously uncomfortable. I know it's too late now, but getting the sports seats would have helped. You might be able to pick some up in the classifieds section. They're a lot more comfortable.

i had the same thing with my leather seats in my s and i couldnt take it anymore so i sourced some recaros.

Was the best thing i did to the car!

Im held better in my seat especially round corners and am generally more comfortably. It is a sporty seat BUT it is still usable and comfortable for everyday

A seat is a very personal thing when it comes to comfyness my standard non sport seats were fine for comfyness for me in not making me ache. But not for keeping me in them going around corners hence my upgrade to JCW seats and my need for leather.

c130jtechie,

You needn't spend a fortune... a couple of sets of Full Leather sports seats for the convertible have cropped up on eBay recently

Thanks, I'm keeping an eye on ebay as well as on here, brand new seats are too much especially as we have just moved house.

Amy other advice most appreciated.
