rain, rain, rain!!!

I cant beleive the weather at the minute, the rain is incredible . Not much roof down action at the minute . But every (rain) cloud has a silver lining , the very heavy rain has made the roof look cleaner than it has for ages.
Anyone else noticed ???

You're right - we bought our convertible 3 weeks ago (21 days) and it must have rained for 17 of them since then!!

had my top down yesterday afternoon and again this morning

Don't let the rain stop you folks - if you're going on the motorway and can maintain >50mph, the whole interior stays dry

He he, maybe you need to practice your roof-down-between-showers technique...

The trick is to lower the windows (tap the 'windows down' button once but don't hold it) then simultaneously retract the roof to the sunroof position while you are still moving along...

Then, once you come almost to a stop (in traffic, at a junction or traffic lights, etc.) you can lower the rest of the roof in just a few seconds (admittedly whilst getting strange looks from other drivers who have probably still got their windscreen wipers on!)

If you are topless on a motorway in heavy rain.... rather than pull off the road to put the hood up (getting the car wet all the time your under 40mph), stop under a motorway bridge to do it

Another top tip... if you're going to drive through six inches of standing water with the roof down, put the side windows up first

(got a bit wet on the way to work this morning )

This summer has been absolute crap. I've done a tenth of the miles I did last year!

You just have to be crafty with your top down activities.

Sneak it down at the lights if there's the slightest glimpse of sun/dryness

I've still managed a good amount of top-down action

"Top down activities" - nice phrase Jon

I've managed quite a bit of toplessness too, but then my roof is down pretty much all year anyway
