MINI CABRIO in gold?

I didn't think that there was such a thing? In a cabrio that is....anyone know? I thought it was a colour in the hard tops waaay back along with the silk green that was later discontinued as a colour...

I found this while I was browsing cars online....*MINI's of course*

Yes thats a real car. The gold colour was available both pre facelift and facelift and the convertible although it was discontinued pretty soon after the face lift im sure.

Never seen one in that colour before, don't look too bad.
Crikey you Australians are trusting publishing the car VIN plate in car adverts.

Yeh I would say it would be a very "rare" colour in the cabrio...

Yup the colour is called 'Solid Gold' - despite it being a metallic!

There is a Gold Cooper Convertible that drives round here with an Aero Kit on... looks stunning

New cars nearly all have the VIN for all to see inside the windscreen now. Certainly my BMW Convertible has.

What could they do with the VIN anyhow?

All cars adverts on the net here ask for it!

I dunno maybe that could "re-birth" the car....dunno how that works tho, but I've heard of it happening before... pretty scary stuff

Vin

Yes, I understand most new cars display the VIN in the windscreen, just like if a fraudster wanted to clone a car he would go to a local dealer or garage or even go up to a car in the car park and get the vehicle registration number.

Just makes it more easier for them to research on the net, there they have a catalogue of BIN numbers. When I advertise a car, I would only disclose the reg number to the enquirer. I would have to meet him or her first before disclosing any further details for example doing a Vehicle HPi check etc...
