Streaky windows

I have a one year old convertible and have noticed that recently when I put the window back up I'm left with streaks on the glass. I'm sure I've seen this discussed somewhere else but can't find the discussion. Anyone else have this problem?

My other half gets this problem on her Dooper. Dirty streaks on the inside of the window. My Dooper does it to a much smaller degree, with the streaks just at the very front of the window

It is more than likely on the rubber seals in the door itself. This could have got trapped by dirty windows then putting them down, or by using something on the windows like flash wipes and not taking it off properly.

it happened to mine once so i just kept the windows wet and kept putting the windows up and down and it eventually cleared.

Mine left streaks all over the windows, so i got them replaced under warranty, now it only does it on the front of the glass!

Take it into your dealer and tell them, they should change them!

Thanks everyone, didn't realise it could be a dealer job. I'll try the wet window thing first then go to the dealership

Yep I'm another who has had this problem. Its the rubber seals that cause the window to streak.

I've had a new set put on under warranty, and I think I'll be due for another as the problem has just recently returned.
