I was wondering if you Brits keep you're old tax disc? If so I would like to trade some MINI stuff for one. One for 05 if possible?
Thanks

Tax Disc Well here in the states, we don't have Tax Disc. I want something to add to my car that other people don't have here. My car came out in 05 and I want a Disc to reflect that.

Most people tend to keep them as a record for their cars, or destroy them to prevent fraudulent use

What month was it registered?
Maybe someone will have an old disc that has that month on it.

How do you fraudulently use an out-of-date tax disc?

I was wondering that myself... they're expired (not really good for anything except as souvenirs) and they've got the car's number plate on there anyway - so it's not like they're transferable.

I don't know as I don't do that kind of thing, I was just always told you could use them to that way

The Minx had all her old ones in the tax disc holder, just used to slip the new one in front each time
I like keeping them all - will see if I still have a 2005 one lying around for you

In which case you'll need a MINI that was first-registered in the last week of May or in June of 2004 or before.

Hi I don't have an 05 disc but mine is up for renewal end of June and it's an 08?? I am not sure on the fraudulent side, as mentioned however nothing would surprise me if there was a scam going on for tax discs!! Good luck with your find and if you want mine let me know hunny.
