The glittery roof is the same material as the one currently offered on the 1-series convertible

It has a fleck woven into it for a more glimmery look, not personally a fan of it though!

Good grief! Glittering denim hood fabric? Next there will be a pink roof, I suppose....

All I want is a hood that does not wear out, does not fade, and does not rattle when up. Not too much to ask is it?

Not here much any more

You'd hope not, not this time around anyway.

Color update in the Future Variants Forum...Midnight Black, Horizon Blue both to be offered for all 09 models and interchange yellow to be exclusive to the R57. Was Midnight Black ever a color in MINI or Mini History?

Now I am Looking forward to the commute! MINI Cooper S Cabrio

No doubt they will bring out the metallic white that most of the car manufactures at Excel this year were showcasing.

I would love a sparkly white car

Cracking 800th post, Francesca! Very poetic and descriptive, but I think I'm going to struggle to really understand until I see it in the metal.....

Maybe on my next Plant Oxford factory tour, when (hopefully) they might have some R57s on the line......
