Marky MC,

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOOW

That is a truly awesome combination, but the ride might be a bit harsh for the good lady.

I have just bought some red painted calipers, but forgot its under warranty so can't put them on.

Having seen your great photoshop skills, the wheels really re woth considering again with the JCW calipers as you can see the logo...... Mind need to keep them clean but then that is what I have been practicing on the car, and the orange just looks perfect when it is brought up to standard. I actually hope to get it better than that as have just started off on this detailing lark!!!! See the thread in detailing called Journey Starts.........

Must win that lottery!!!

Gaz

Ha! Just been out to test my boot button, and ot works!

Press it, and the hazard lights flash twice. I can then open the boot using the handle as usual. But (and here's the clever bit) I can then shut the boot lid, the hazard lights flash once, and the boot is locked without you need ing to press the key!!

So this is great, I am thinking, until the day I accidentally put my jacket with keys in pocket in the boot, and then shut it

So, if your dealer does offer you this setting, please think carefully before you enable it!!!!!

(And to think I've had this facility for nearly 5 years and never realised.....thanks for helping me find out!)

Not here much any more

Dalbyone, you're a lucky guy! It seems that all the features are enabled by default on your car...If I lock my car with the boot open, it does what you described (flashes once when you close the boot, so you know the alarm is now covering the boot). But can't use the key for that, or for 'convenient unlocking' (which I really want, I think it would be very cool, but wouldn't spend money on it)

At last some decent weather to sort her out, tried the Autoglym HD wax here after clay bar and ultra deep shine polish, seems to have worked quite well...

Ok, yep mine has all those features! Can open the roof from my work window, scares people walking past and no one around, can open boot and it locks itself, just don't put your keys down on the tailgate and close it.....

Love the Car Marky, spent a week in a similar cabrio to that when my hardtop was in the "dealership" and fell in love would have bought it there and then, but glad I didn't as I love my sidewalk, but loving the JCW wheels....love the silver and black look!
