Hey! New to this forum and have just purchased a Cooper S Convertible 05.. Just wondered if there was any general advice now that the winter is coming to protect hood? Also it has the flip flop paint, really good condition and want to make the most of this - anything I can do to make sure it stays in good condition?
I use Autoglym products on the hood of my convertible. It comes in two bottles and you need to vacuum the hood first (and yes I did feel a complete tit doing it in the street), then wet it and give it a wash with one of the products, then spray the protector on it.
Afterwards the water beads a treat, just be carefull with the spray and dont get it on the windows as it's a bit of a bugger to get off.
