DIY Top Trim Removal

I'm installing a backup camera in my 2007 Cooper and I did some searching and found some useful links which has helped in wiring and getting power to the screen, but I'm having trouble hiding the wiring. Does anyone know how to take off the top trim or have an idea of how to run the wires.

The screen hooks onto to review mirror. I've included a picture of how I've planned the run the wires, but I'm having trouble getting it run above the glass. (also, i need it tucked behind the latch for the top).

Thanks!
Carter
