CONFIRMED - Some badly kept Cabrio 'secrets'...

I've now had some official word from MINI HQ that there WILL be two new colours for the Cabrio, and that one of them will be a new blue. There will also be some roof colour options for the cabrio too.

This information is nothing new, but it's nice to have 100% official confirmation (rather than 'no comment' or 'not denying').

Gee .... some "unofficial" things (cabrios) seem a lot more REAL than some "official" things (rear fogs in the USA).

Indeed.

I've sent off another email to MINI USA HQ to ask if there is any new news on that.

Paul,
Are these new colours exclusive to the Cabrio then?
Do you know if or have an idea that some other colours will be available across the range?
I have read that electric blue may be available across the range, do you know anymore.

We/I did hear that EB will go across the range, and that the Blue and Orange will be new colours exclusive to the convertible.

Thanks for the info Paul
It looks like an EB cooper for me then,
I don't like the cabrio that much. Hopefully something official will be released about colours across the 2004 range soon.

Hope Abi is doing well and feeling OK.

I spoke to the dealer on Saturday about cabrio models....his words were the only models MINI are having as cabrio's are the One and Cooper he also said that there will not be an Cooper S version.

All the above was read from a MINI news brief/bulletin that the dealers are sent from MINI HQ.

dinger.

That's strange Dinger.

There was a pic of an S cabrio in Autocar a few months ago. They had snapped pics of all the new BMW models (X-3 etc.) on test in S.Africa.
